If you already
own the game on the Microsoft Store:
- Open the Microsoft Store.
- Click the [ ∙ ∙ ∙ ] symbol next to your profile picture.
- Select My Library.
- Find Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition in the list.
- Click the Install button to download all of the files to play Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition.
Note that you will not be able to launch the game until release day on October 15!
Pre-Download via XBOX GAME PASS FOR PC...
If you are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for PC:
- Open the Microsoft Store.
- Search for Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition using the search bar.
- Navigate to the Store page and click the Install button to download all of the files to play Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition.
Note that you will not be able to launch the game until release day on October 15!
Pre-Download on STEAM...
If you already own the game on Steam:
- Open Steam.
- Click on Library to see your games list.
- Find Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition in the list.
- Select the game, then press the PRELOAD button to download all of the files to play Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition.
